Support Austin-Area Schools and Coats For Kids

It’s that time of year again: Austin-area students are beginning to dig through closets and knock on doors to collect gently used coats for the annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive.

This year Coats for Kids is offering you the opportunity to purchase a coat online on behalf of the participating Austin-area school of your choice through a unique partnership with Plum District. For every $15 given through Plum District, a coat will be purchased and your school will receive credit for one coat in the competition.

1. Choose the corresponding link below to find your school. Don't want to credit a specific school? Choose the "General" from any category below - Coats for Kids will still receive at coat!
   Elementary Schools
   Middle Schools
   High Schools
   Private/Charter Schools

2. If you aren’t already signed into your Plum District account, you’ll be asked to sign in (or create one if you don’t have one already — it’s free).
3. Once you have chosen your school category you will see the school options listed on the right hand side of the page.
4. Decide how many coats you would like to purchase. Indicate that number in the field to the left of your school.
5. Select "Make it Mine" and follow instructions for checkout.
6. Once you’ve purchased you’ll be able to see your purchase listed on your account page.

As an added bonus for Austin-area schools, Plum District will be giving $100 to the PTA of the school with the most online coats given! Helping keep an Austin child warm this winter has never been easier, so get started!
