My idea of a perfect Sunday morning is...

Coffee and conversation with my husband and the luxury of time to take our dog Cupcake on a long walk along the bluffs!

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

"It was one of those days...My husband was on a business trip and the drip from the ceiling turned out to be a broken pipe. As I was trying to figure out my plan of action, my daughter called out: ""Mom, you have to see this!"" and pointed outside to a gorgeous, double rainbow. She reminded me that even in the midst of chaos we should stop and enjoy the moment. "

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

I overheard one daughter say to the other, "You know, Moms are usually right and I hate to say it but, especially OUR Mom!"

My biggest secret for getting from to-do to ta-da is...

I get great satisfaction in scratching things off my to-do list as I go! A steady supply of fresh-ground coffee and a pressing deadline work wonders too!

What always puts a smile on your face?
