My idea of a perfect Sunday morning is...

Waking up to happy faces with an empty agenda, and then deciding how we'll spend our day over some homemade crepes. We always make it a family day, sometimes to be shared with friends.

Which living person do you most admire and why?

My husband is the string to my balloon. He'll handle any situation with calm and quiet, accomplishing absolutely everything he attempts with integrity and respect.

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

We watched my husband get thrown out playing softball, and my daughter said, "That's ok if he's out, Mama. Everyone gets out sometimes, and everyone wins sometimes, too!"

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

As my Mom was giving my daughter a bath, my sister dropped a brush in the tub. She said "Nanny, Jess put the brush in the tub" She then looked at my sister and said "I told your Mother."

My biggest secret for getting from to-do to ta-da is...

I tell myself it has to be done at some point, and it will only take longer to come back, so just do it now!

What always puts a smile on your face?

I love playing in the sun, swimming in its light, driving in the jeep with its rays on my shoulders, BBQing beneath it, or boating on the lake with the fam.
