My idea of a perfect Sunday morning is...

Sleep! Followed by a long run at the beach before breakfast overlooking the surf at La Jolla Shores with my husband and two kids at Caroline's. What's not to love!

Which living person do you most admire and why?

My sister. Doctor, mom, military wife and still has the time to be my best friend day or night.

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

"Let's grow our own vegetables!" So we planted a small garden ("our farm") and now my daughter loves to pick herbs and tomatoes for dinner.

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

My 3 year old daughter insists on dressing herself: "Gonna do it all by myself". The other day she came out her room in a furry pink fleece jacket, underwear, rain boots, and a princess crown - on the hottest day of the year!

My biggest secret for getting from to-do to ta-da is...

Try to stay focused on the things that really matter and give yourself a break on the rest. Chances are you're already getting more done than you realize!

What always puts a smile on your face?

The sound of my kids belly laughing. Nothing better than tiny giggles to put life into perspective.
