When we have nothing planned in particular for the day. I love leisurely laying in bed with my husband and 2 year daughter and talking about what fun things we can do that day.
Besides my husband, I think my parents are two of the most wonderful, good, knowledgeable, loving people I know. I try to model myself after them!
Whenever I go on a walk with my daughter, she ALWAYS stops and smells all the flowers (whether they smell or not!). Symbolically, I think that is such good advice - stop what you are doing and take time to enjoy all the beautiful things around you.
My 2 year old daughter wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug, layed her head on my shoulder, rubbed my back and said "ooohh, baby", like she was the mommy and I was her baby.
Living by the motto "never put off til tomorrow what you can do today". It always works for me (plus my cup of coffee first thing in the morning never hurts).
When I see my daughter in a fit of giggles from something silly my husband did.
