My idea of a perfect Sunday morning is...

the whole family gathered around the kitchen cooking bacon & pancakes. Drinking strong coffee and soaking in the sounds of silliness & giggles.

Which living person do you most admire and why?

My mom always has a huge smile on her face, is the hardest working woman on earth, and has the biggest heart. She will help anyone without hesitation and is just a phenomenal role model for a punk kid like me :)

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

don't pet sharks. They're cute, but not cuddly like dogs.

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

my daughter keeps ambushing her big brother with sneak attack monster hugs out of the blue. Sometimes she'll run across a room and tackle him in a hug to the ground, other times he'd be walking by her and she'd grab him into a BIG hug while yelling "I LOVE YOU!"

My biggest secret for getting from to-do to ta-da is...

there is fun to be found in every seemingly boring or unwanted task, truly.

What always puts a smile on your face?

singing out loud, the beach, cooking & baking with my kids, date nights, girls night outs, chatting it up with kind strangers everywhere I go.
