I admire the passion of moms. The creative energy, love, drive and passion that occurs when a woman becomes a mother. So many of our moms have used this energy to find solutions to problems such as creating sunscreens for their tiny children without the frightening and impossible to pronounce chemicals – or creating a delightfully designed booster chair that is easy to clean, transport and keep in plain view. The list could go on. Moms are a delightfully magical and wonderful part of our community and continuity.

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

Remember the butterfly kisses! From my niece at our engagement party (she was three). People were giving us advice on how to have a successful marriage.

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

He placed a colander on his head with spoons coming out of the handles, wore swim goggles - had a set of the same for me and said with the utmost seriousness, "Mamma, you need to put these on, we are going to the moon."
