Sleeping in and then reading a good book while sipping Peet's coffee.
Personality traits for which I admire the most are selflessness, genuineness, sensitivity and a sense of humor. I'd have to say my mom fits this perfectly.
My daughter, Isabella went to Boulder, Colorado this summer for 2 weeks to visit her cousins. I was getting sad when the time approached for her to leave. I told her I was going to miss her so much and she said, "I'll miss you too, Mommy, but I am coming back, so you should just have some fun." She is only 6!
My 3 year old son, Alexander was playing his sister's hot pink guitar totally rocking out at 6am in the morning. It was loud...really loud, but I just had to laugh instead of getting annoyed! Then he started laughing too. It was a great way to start the day.
Checklists! I'm such a planner, so task lists are very important to me. If everything is written down I can tackle things one at a time. The sense of accomplishment is a wonderful feeling!
