My idea of a perfect Sunday morning is...

A lazy one! Staying in my pajamas way too long and making a big breakfast for my family. Everyone has a different favorite so usually it's pancakes, waffles and french toast!

Which living person do you most admire and why?

My mom. I've never met anyone with such amazing capacity for love, compassion and generosity. She gives herself to her family with complete selflessness and lives each day with a joyful sense of gratitude.

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

My 6 year old is a master at reading my moods. Sometimes when I'm feeling really rushed or stressed he looks and me very sweetly says "mom, relax, it's okay". On the occasion I wake up a little cranky he will ask me "mom, would you like to start over"? The insight makes me giggle!

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

Wear their Halloween costumes out to dinner... again! Costumes are a year around thing in our house!

My biggest secret for getting from to-do to ta-da is...

Thinking about how good I will feel once I'm finished. That and some great coffee!

What always puts a smile on your face?

After I close their bedroom door at night, I can hear my boys telling each other stories. It makes me want to go back in and hug them one more time!
