Oprah Winfrey. Her compassion, generosity and honesty have inspired me and so many others to be the best we can be.

The best advice I've ever gotten from a kid is..

"If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." I've drilled this into my girls' heads, and now they say it to me!

The funniest thing my kids did this week was...

Both my girls told me not to sing at their birthday party. "Mom, you're sooo embarrassing!" I had thought I was the "cool mom." Go figure!

My biggest secret for getting from to-do to ta-da is...

Post-it notes. I stick them everywhere! As a single mom to two girls, I do a zillion things everyday. I couldn't do it without post-it reminders in the car, house, or the washing machine!

What always puts a smile on your face?

Watching my girls sleep in the early morning hours. They are so calm and peaceful. It reminds me to count my blessings.
