Hey, Mom, have your kids ever complained about how hard they have it?Chances are, they have no idea how lucky they are to be under your loving wing! Education about human rights can help kids reframe their own lives and begin to grasp meaningful world affairs in a personally significant way. Take your family out to the Breman Museum for their powerful new exhibit, "Torn From Home," with today's deal for family admission (two adults and two children).
In this exhibit geared towards children ages 8-12, you'll touch objects from an actual refugee camp, observe everyday activities, and listen to real voices from kids affected by man-made and natural disasters. More than 30 million people worldwide have been displaced due to war and violence - 10 million of these are children. Take a journey through this inspiring, hands-on exhibit and your family can help to build a brighter future.
The Breman Museum explores the universal themes of respect for difference, responsible citizenship, human dignity, and community-building through the lens of the Jewish experience. The museum provides visitors with a strong historical perspective as well as a positive example of the strength of the human spirit and our interdependence. The Breman, a local and national resource, houses two permanent exhibitions, one gallery for special exhibitions, a resource library, and extensive archives relating to Jewish history in Georgia with materials dating back to the 1850's. The Breman is proud to present excellent exhibits, programs and series.
