Did your child take swim lessons but still can’t swim? Do you cringe at the thought of your child getting too close to the edge? Give your child the skills to help him/herself in an aquatic emergency and the foundations of a life-long love of the water.
SOS Swim School features Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Self Rescue Swim Lessons. This technique is backed by more than 45 years of success having taught more than 7 million safe lessons. Over 200,000 children have learned life-saving skills.
Lessons are private and instruction will be tailored to your child's skill and comfort level. We do not have "group" lessons, because we believe your child should have our undivided attention. We customize their lessons, especially for them, to ensure the safest, most efficient lessons. We want each child to experience success and use positive reinforcement to recognize each accomplishment, no matter how small. The parent, or caregiver, watches every lesson poolside. Students attend 10-minute lessons every day Monday -Friday.
INFANTS 6-12 MONTHS: ROLLBACK-TO-FLOAT- Babies 6 to 12 months are taught the rollback to-float sequence. These young children learn from their physical environment. We honor this method of learning. Through this process the child is taught breath control, correct floating posture, and the skills to attain a back float and remain floating for varied periods of time.
CHILDREN 1-6 YEARS: SWIM-FLOAT-SWIM - Children 1 year or older who are walking are taught the swim-float-swim sequence - swimming in a face down position, using his/her arms and legs; rolling onto their back to a survival float when they feel the pressure on their chest that tells them that they need a breath; and then flipping back over to continue swimming.
Thousands of Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) staff is dedicated with many years of experience, and the highest safety standards in the industry. ISR is able to deliver the best survival swimming instruction in the world today. The result?
