Join Pecan Park Family Dentistry for a free carnival on July 21, 2012 at their office from 10am-2pm. There will be free popcorn, snow cones, bounce house, games and prizes! Fun for the whole family to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Pecan Park Family Dentistry. Dr. Craft was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, and she graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biomedical Engineering before entering dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University. She relocated to Austin after dental school because of Austin’s outstanding reputation and her desire to experience life in a different part of the country. Dr. Craft chose to become a dentist for a multitude of reasons. Dentistry perfectly combines her love of art with her love of science. It allows her to help others by participating in mission work. She feels very lucky to have found a profession that allows her to help those in need. While in dental school, she was involved in the Mission of Mercy Project, which provided free dental care to low-income people in remote areas of Virginia. She has also traveled to Ecuador to provide dental care to the people of a tiny village there.
