The Class A short season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, the Lowell Spinners provide affordable family entertainment. Founded in 1996, the Spinners play in the New York-Pennsylvania League, taking to the field for 76 games a year in 79 days, half of which are played on their home turf, Edward A. LeLacheur Park. The Swampland Kids Area is located in the left field corner of the ballpark.
