Activities
Music can play a key factor in the development of children, whether it’s a newborn or an active toddler. Start to enhance their motor abilities, allow them to engage in a class that fosters natural learning and expose them to great music with parent-child classes from Music Together.
For 9 weeks, you and your little one(s) – from 0 to 5 years of age – can sing, dance, and move together within a small group led by a certified Music Together teacher who guides you on how to interact and play with your child and help them grow not only musically, but socially, physically and cognitively.
The activities in each class are designed for parents interested in music development in infants and toddlers, and offer great tools for bonding with your child. In the Mixed Ages class, children can learn from each other by participating and watching. In the Babies classes (up to 8 months) parents are given the tools to musically engage with their baby at-home and learn how music can basically eliminate those fussy moments.
The Music Together® program encourages your child's innate ability to participate in music making with joy and confidence. Musical participation is not based on talent, but on exposure and experience at a young age. Classes build on children's natural enthusiasm and encourage growth in all areas of development, not just musical.
