Health and Fitness
Want to get fit but don’t want to leave your bundle of joy in the hands of another? You can improve cardiovascular and mommy muscle strength with your baby at your side (or overhead during bench presses). The stroller, resistance tubes (and even your child!) are used as an integral part of the workout. You'll drop the baby weight in a supportive environment, while picking up new friends for you and your child. With Baby Boot Camp classes, you’ll get the strength, stamina and flexibility needed to lift, carry and cuddle your little ones as much as you want! Expectant moms are also welcome, so come and connect with a great community even before your baby arrives!
With this offer, you'll get five Baby Boot Camp classes and a starter kit to get you in gear! The starter kit includes the necessary equipment required for classes (resistance tube, flat band, Baby Boot Camp water bottle and nylon back pack), a $10 gift card to Wild Child Clothing (Arlington, MA), one complimentary drop-in play to Together in Motion (Arlington, MA), as well as a $50 gift card for photography services to The Family Album.
Classes are currently scheduled to fit the routine and energizing needs of morning go-getters, with one-hour sessions held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Baby Boot Camp was founded by Kristen Horler in 2001 in the San Francisco Bay Area. After extensive research, she was unable to find a challenging workout that didn't require hiring a personal trainer and a babysitter or purchasing a gym membership. Drawing from her experience as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, triathlete, and mother, she developed Baby Boot Camp to balance the fitness needs of new moms with their desire to spend time with their baby. Today, Baby Boot Camp classes are available across the United States.
