Look to the sky for an afternoon of soaring stunts at the Service Credit Union Boston-Portsmouth Air Show on June 30 and July 1.
If you've ever marveled at the wonder of flight then an air show will make your head spin! Flying acts and opening ceremonies begin at 11 am but you’ll want to get there early (gates open at 8am) to experience the on-ground static aircraft displays, explore the exhibits and let your children burn off energy in the Kids Zone.
Then, when the in-the-air action performances begin, you can watch, awe-struck, at the aerial feats of the world-famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the civilian demonstration Black Diamond Jet Team, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team. Other attractions include Jane Wicker’s wing walk, National Aviation Hall of Fame legend Sean D. Tucker’s amazing aerobatic flying routine and other jaw-dropping airplane maneuvers, formations and nosedives.
The Service Credit Union Boston-Portsmouth Air Show presents aviators showcasing the capabilities of their aircraft to spectators and displaying their flying and aerobatic skills. The show is being jointly produced by the Daniel Webster Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire. The two organizations, along with more than 30 other local not-for-profit groups, will benefit from the show.
