Run Daddy Run! This year, celebrate Father's Day with this 5K run/walk in Stapleton's Central Park that raises money for prostate cancer.
Join your friends, neighbors and of course dads at Stapleton Central Park on Saturday, June 16, 2012 for SET the PACE for Prostate Cancer. The premier Father's Day Run in Denver, SET the PACE includes both a 5K and a 1 Mile course, as well as a free "Dash for Dads" for the kids! Registered runners and walkers will get a tech t-shirt, a fully stocked goodie bags, entry to win prizes and enjoy free Famous Dave's BBQ and Coors beer- we know dad will dig this! Best of all, 100% of the funds go to prostate cancer awareness, education, and screenings for Colorado men. Show the main man in your clan just how special he is with a fun-filled day that also benefits a worthy cause.
Prostate Conditions Education Council is a national organization committed to men’s health. The PCEC is the nation’s leading resource for information on prostate health and is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of men and their loved ones from prostate disease. Founded in 1989, PCEC is comprised of a consortium of leading physicians, health educators, scientists, and prostate cancer advocates, who aim to conduct nationwide screenings for men and perform research that will aid in the detection and treatment of prostate and men’s health conditions. Proceeds from this event are used for research, to advance early detection tools and to provide free prostate health exams to men throughout Colorado.
