For as long as Kathryn Murray can remember, she has loved photography. Her mother, an accomplished artist and avid photographer, introduced her to cameras when she was six, and she was instantly mesmerized. She studied photography in high school and college and continued to study with classes at the International Center of Photography in NYC and The Smithsonian in Washington, DC. She has studied all types of photography – but photographing people and animals has been her greatest passion. However, what truly drives her is the smile on someone’s face when she has captured their special moments and they love their photographs.
