Sing, play, dance, and clap with your kids, all while learning about the music of the diverse cultures that make New York City such a wonderful place to live. A class at City Stomp will teach you and your child (ages 6 mos-5 years) basic music skills like keeping a beat and understanding pitch, in an interactive 45-minute class that's a ton of noise-making fun. The 2012 spring session features the music of Latin American cultures as well as fun songs about Coney Island, the five boroughs and Punk Rock Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Today's offer gets you 10 weeks of classes at City Stomp for $125, during the spring session that begins on April 14. Once you purchase your Plum District offer, contact City Stomp to register for a class location, day, and time. Space is very limited, so act quickly! Moms with multiple kids - rejoice! Send two of your children to classes at City Stomp, and a third child may attend classes for free.
City Stomp Music was designed specifically for young NYC kids! Founder Kevin MacCallum was classically trained in vocal music at Mannes School of Music, studied directing at the Royal Court Theater in London and has a B.S. in theater acting and directing from Northwestern University. Kevin is a father of three beautiful children and has been an early childhood music teacher for eight years. He has lived in New York most of his life and has always been inspired by the diversity of cultures and music in this city. City Stomp is the culmination of his love for music, kids and New York City.
