Here's a new performance you don't want to miss. Perfect for a mother-daughter or family outing, SHOW WAY tells the story of 11-year-old Toshi Georgiana, who has lost a beloved family heirloom.
This heirloom is a square from a quilt called a 'Show Way,' originally sewn by slaves to convey secret meanings and paths to freedom. As she searches for it, she is led by generations of women who came before her - from slaves to civil rights marchers. Join Toshi as she tries to find her own special connection to the past, and celebrates possibilities of the future. A moving and lyrical account, SHOW WAY illuminates bravery, courage, strength, and the power of knowledge.
Performances run January 19th through March 3rd, 2013, on Saturdays and Sundays at 11AM and 1PM.
