Amanda Shell has had the creative bug her whole life. The Roscoe Village artist began her mural business by painting murals in nursing homes to assist in offering creative and dignified ways to re-direct those living with dementia while adding beauty and pizzazz to the nursing home environment. Soon people who saw these murals asked for creative murals in their own homes and children's rooms ... and thus, in 2000, whirleygirl designs was born!
