After years of battling the disease Carol Gollob, an avid lifelong tennis player, died on October 2, 1993 just eight days before her 56th birthday. Inspired by Carol, her courage and her hopes, the Foundation is committed to broadening education and furthering research to find the cure for breast cancer, once and for all. The tennis community throughout the US has rallied to her side through the tennis clinics, donations, and other programs. Let's join them and work together so that one day no one will have to live with the pain and suffering that Carol went through!

The Carol Gollob Foundation for Breast Cancer Research is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to educating people about breast cancer and to funding research for its detection, prevention, and cure. Currently, over two million women in the United States have been diagnosed with breast cancer and last year 44,000 died. Since 1992, through its annual charity tennis events, the foundation has raised more than $750,000.
