Tours through this lovely orchard in scenic West Alexandria are on Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to noon. You and your family will be guided by Frank, the owner and horticulturist of Tuken's. After the tour, spend as much time as you like visiting the Critter Corral petting area and handpicking half a peck of apples to take home with you. (That's about 7 lbs, for all you non-country folks!) Try all 40 apple varieties, or stick to your favorites. The branches are so laden with fruit that they bend almost to the ground, making apple-picking a snap even for the shortest members of your family.
Visit their new farm market and gift gallery store on the way out for fresh produce and interesting fun finds!

Tuken's is a family-owned orchard on 22 acres with over 3,500 apple trees. Pick apples yourself from trees that average about 12 feet high with branches so laden with fruit that they almost touch the ground!
