There's no better place to take in the beauty of fall and winter than at Four Mile Historic Park.
At this 12-acre, historical Denver landmark, you can visit their one-room schoolhouse, barns with chickens, goats, and horses, their Native American tipi, pan for gold, and more - all which will contribute to your understanding of the West's pioneer past!
What else is wonderful about today's deal? You can use it for entry to their holiday event, 'A Colorado Christmas,' on Sunday December 2nd from 12-4pm. The park will be decked out for the holidays, and you and the fam can play Victorian games with Father Christmas, make your own gingerbread fantasy (additional charge), sample chestnuts roasted on an open fire, string your own popcorn and cranberries for the Four Mile Tree, and much more! 'Tis the season for great family memories, Mom.
Nestled on the banks of Cherry Creek, the Four Mile House was the last stop coming west to Denver along the Cherokee Trail. Today, their twelve-acre site serves as a portal into Denver and the West's pioneer past. Four Mile Historic Park is a landmark and the centerpiece of the park, and is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places. Visitors can tour the historic house, say hello to their horses, goats, and chickens, learn about the craftmanship of the historic barns and outbuildings, or just spread a blanket under a shady tree and enjoy a beautiful day. Guests can enjoy a horse-drawn ride around the Park on most weekends. Also, don't forget to come out for their old-fashioned family fun during special events throughout the year! Four Mile Historic Park offers nearby urban dwellers the chance to "get away from it all" in a farm setting in the middle of the city.
