The leaves will soon turn, Mama, and with that comes cozy fires, pumpkin patches, costumes, and other fall delights. And there's no better place to take in the beauty of the new season than at Four Mile Historic Park.
This Denver landmark is here with an offer your whole family will enjoy: a one-year "Settler" membership. At this historical 12-acre oasis you can visit their one-room schoolhouse, barns with chickens, goats, and horses, their Native American tipi, pan for gold, and more - all which will contribute to your understanding of the West's pioneer past! The "Settler" family membership gives you the following:
You'll also get a free make-your-own scarecrow at their Pumpkin Harvest Festival on October 6th and 7th! Treat your kids to some extra fall fun and enjoy the offerings of this gorgeous park for an entire year.
Nestled on the banks of Cherry Creek, the Four Mile House was the last stop coming west to Denver along the Cherokee Trail. Today, their twelve-acre site serves as a portal into Denver and the West's pioneer past. Four Mile Historic Park is a landmark and the centerpiece of the park, and is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places. Visitors can tour the historic house, say hello to their horses, goats, and chickens, learn about the craftmanship of the historic barns and outbuildings, or just spread a blanket under a shady tree and enjoy a beautiful day. Guests can enjoy a horse-drawn ride around the Park on most weekends. Also, don't forget to come out for their old-fashioned family fun during special events throughout the year! Four Mile Historic Park offers nearby urban dwellers the chance to "get away from it all" in a farm setting in the middle of the city.
