Amber received her first camera when she was fourteen. It was on a family trip where she captured the sunrise of the millennium on film. From that moment on, the camera literally became a part of her. She spent her summer vacations taking photography courses at Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts and graduated with honors from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University with a BFA in Photography in 2008. Amber now resides in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas where she works as a fine art portrait & wedding photographer. She strives to create images that are conceptual, artful, and photojournalistic in style. Her work has been described as vibrant, playful, and completely honest. She loves photographing people, whether it be children, families, or weddings!
