Gather the family and head to the 63rd annual Franklin, Tennessee Rodeo on May 17th. The Franklin Rodeo has been a family favorite for over sixty years! Enjoy the thrills of bronco busting and bull riding. Kids can run wild in the calf scramble, try their luck at mutton busting, ride the mechanical bull, and enjoy clowns and cotton candy.
Performances start at 7 o’clock nightly but come early to enjoy their famous tri-tip steak on a stick, burgers, chicken tenders, pizza, fries and more. You'll also have access to Franklin's "Ro-DE-o Drive," where you’ll find everything from Haagen Dazs to fancy hats and hair berets!
It’s not just a rodeo — it’s the Franklin Rodeo — and it's indoors, air conditioned, and has plenty of free parking. All seats are reserved and every year’s a sell out, so grab this offer and take a seat before they're all gone! All proceeds go to the Franklin Noon Rotary Club, which benefits everything from local high school bands to area medical schools.
The Franklin Noon Rotary Club was chartered on January 13, 1948, by Judge Jim Warren. Among the founding members were Dr. Harry Guffee, Rev. Henry Moberly, and Bill Miller. Sometime during the winter of 1949, the new Rotary Club began looking for a fundraising project. The idea for the Franklin Rodeo began to take form. The first rodeo was held in May 1950 and it was a great success. The Franklin Noon Rotary Club has been carrying on the tradition ever since that time.
