Gigi & Zaza is a privately held company established in the summer of 2009, operating out of New York and Los Angeles. While shopping for her little daughter, one of the founders realized that the online market was crowded with commercial footwear brands with uninspiring aesthetics; only a few shops provided sophisticated products, but at very prohibitive prices. Frustrated with the experience and hungry for simplicity as well as uniqueness, she decided to partner with two long-time friends to launch an online boutique for parents who want their kids to have a strong sense of individuality and for family and friends hunting for beautiful, practical, yet exclusive gifts.
