NEWO was developed by Jonathan Roche, a Certified Personal Trainer, an award-winning fitness expert, a 12-time Ironman Triathlon finisher, and a 15-time Boston Marathon finisher. In 1995 Jonathan was 40 pounds overweight and working long hours when his dad (who struggled with his weight his whole life) died suddenly of a heart attack. Jonathan then went on his own wellness journey, lost 40 pounds, and ran his first Boston Marathon.
Jonathan created personalized interval workouts for people trying to get fit and lose weight who, like him, had put on weight due to their busy schedules. Jonathan’s approach to wellness empowers individuals to implement fun and effective workouts that can be adapted to everyone, no matter their fitness level or schedule.
