Listening to music isn't just fun for kids - it's enriching and educational, too. Exposure to melodies and rhythms is vital for cognitive development. The baby and toddler playgroups and classes at Flying Teapot Music are designed to help young children gain listening and movement skills, as well as an appreciation for the arts.

With today's offer, you have the flexibility to choose one class or playgroup, or a 4-week series of classes or playgroups. 

Music class options include:

• Baby Flying Teaspoons (birth to pre-walkers): Designed to provide a nurturing, joyful environment for babies to discover, play, and interact with others. Class includes songs, movement, instrumental play, balls, scarves, and fun! You'll be amazed at your child's ability to express him or herself.
• Mature Babies/Toddler Flying Teapot (walkers to 24 months):  Improvised music will encourage your child's creative expression. They'll also listen to songs such as Joanne's very own CD as well as traditional and multicultural music.
• Flying Teapot for Siblings and Mixed Ages (2-3 year olds and younger siblings): Trains and toys are used to engage your child in familiar ways while they transition into musical play. Favorite songs played include The Train Song and The Potty Song.

Musical Playgroups are two-hour long sessions for ages 20 months to 3 years, and are designed to provide fun, social interaction as well as encourage independence. Playgroups include musical play, story time, snack time, and play time so that your little one benefits from a well-balanced learning experience!
