The world-famous Copacabana - a mainstay of New York nightclubs - symbolizes everything that is glamorous and elegant. The club opened in January of 1941 at 10 East 60th Street in New York City. Since then, the Copacabana has seen a lot of excitement and has had many famous people walk through its doors. In June 2007, it closed due to the expansion of the NYC subway.
