Museum of Flying

You don’t have to be a kid to love the miracle of flight. Now that Santa Monica’s Museum of Flying is open, take the whole family to a park that is dedicated to one of man’s greatest inventions.

From a replica of the Wright Brothers very first plane to today’s modern behemoth Fed Ex planes, the Museum of Flying will take your imagination to new heights. Learn a little history, play pilot at the helm of a monstrous Fed Ex airplane, feel the wind from some airplanes as they take off, and sit up as the Santa Monica Airport plays backdrop to great festivities. The young and young at heart will take wings with this museum, a perfect Saturday for the family of four!

My boys loved the new Museum of Flying in Santa Monica. Make sure you check out the Fed Ex Airplane and ask to see the video on the Stealth Fighter Jets! So many cool planes to see and fly.
