Tickets and Events
We've got two ideas for you. Your first option is to round up the gang and head to "How I Became a Pirate" for a super fantastic family activity on Mother's Day. Your second option is to send dad and the kids to the show, while you sail the seven seas solo for a few hours (Momma's Day massage, anyone?!).
Either way, you can't turn down tickets to the show playing Saturday or Sunday morning at the Morgan-Wixon Theater. In the thrilling musical adventure, young Jeremy Jacobs and his exceptional digging skills are recruited by Captain Braid Beard. Jeremy quickly assumes the pirate life is for him, but the characters he meets are not what he expected. The tale unfolds with a journey to help Jeremy find his own heart and will spellbound your kids with life lessons and lots of laughs.
And what's best? The show is a youth production which means it's performed for kids, by kids. It's a wonderful musical story of courage and perseverance for all ages, and will surely inspire your little ones. Whether you make it a family outing or a treat just for dad and the little ones, this Plum Steal is surely a treasure!
The Morgan-Wixson Theater is one of the oldest arts organizations in Santa Monica but, true to its dramatic mission, it is constantly reinventing itself. It aims to entertain, educate, enrich, and inspire all ages – engaging the community in live theatre experiences which reflect dramatic and cultural diversity.
