After completing graduate school Marieka and her husband Matt travelled the world for eight months. During this time Marieka allowed her interest and talent in design to fully bloom. She found inspiration in her visits to diverse places and upon returning from their travels Marieka went to work for her family company, Van Tilburg Kline Properties. Her work for the company has included commercial property management, commercial office design, commercial lighting plan design, and color scheme planning. For many years Marieka has been helping friends, family, and acquaintances plan and realize beautiful residential spaces.
