Singer-songwriter Lizz Wright has earned international acclaim for her performances and recordings, moving freely between jazz, blues, gospel, folk, soul, and R&B. In 2011 she toured throughout the U.S. and Europe with singers Angelique Kidjo and Dianne Reeves performing “Sing the Truth,” a tribute to such legendary women singers.
Kurt Elling is one of today’s most celebrated jazz vocalists. Winner of a 2010 Grammy Award and named Male Singer of the Year six times by the Jazz Journalists Association, he is nominated for a 2012 Grammy for his newest CD, The Gate. He performs original compositions as well as modern interpretations of standards, all of which are springboards for improvisation, scatting, spoken word and poetry.
