Listening to music isn't just fun for kids - it's enriching and educational, too. Exposure to melodies and rhythms is vital for cognitive development. The baby and toddler programs at the Bloomingdale School of Music are designed to help young children develop listening and movement skills, as well as an appreciation for the arts.

For today's offer, you can choose from these exciting classes at BSM - you'll get a four-week session of classes for $120 (a $240 value)! The summer session runs from July 10th to August 2nd, 2012, and all classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

1. Baby & Toddler's First Music Class (Ages infant to 17mos) Lullabies, laughter, and listening are the focus of this class. Parent or caretaker attendance required. Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-10:45am 
2. Music & Movement (Ages 18mos to 3yrs) Kids will sing, wiggle, giggle, and play percussion instruments. Tuesdays and Thursdays 11-11:45am 
3. Musical Adventures (Age 3yrs) Kids let their creative side shine through as they sing, move, listen, and play. Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-12:45pm
4. Intro to Dalcroze (Ages 3-4yrs) Dalcroze Eurhythmics is the study of music basics like rhythm, pitch, and meter. Kids will learn these fundamentals through songs, stories, games, art, and improvisation. Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-1:45pm
