Baby and Kids
Want your kids to be ahead of the curve on the latest trend taking over the city? No, we’re not talking about the return of plaid (though apparently, it is all the rage)—we’re talking rugby.
That’s right: Rugby, one of the most popular sports in the world, is spreading like wildfire across New York and the entire country with more youth leagues and high school teams starting each year. LIL’ RUGGERS offers non-contact rugby classes, so your child can learn to play and love this newly American pastime in a safe, fun environment.
You’re probably thinking, “Not a chance. Rugby is a notoriously rough and crazy sport.” But it’s really just like soccer—only you can use your hands! Plus, LIL’ RUGGERS goes out of their way to ensure that this non-contact program is safe and comfortable for boys and girls of all ages. Each coach specializes in teaching young children, and the low coach-student ratio ensures that each kid learns in a way that most suits them. The 45-55 minute sessions include warm-up, stretches, drills, tag (i.e. flag) and scrimmage.
At LIL’ RUGGERS, kids will learn teamwork, how to communicate, listening skills and, of course, get to stay healthy and fit while enjoying the great outdoors.

What happens when an empowered female rugby player ("Rugger") gets fed up with the corporate job that keeps pulling her away from the sport she loves? She takes her unbridled entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on experience with kids' recreational programs and creates LIL’ RUGGERS.
LIL’ RUGGERS is the country's first ever non-contact flag rugby instruction for kids as young as 3 years old. LIL’ RUGGERS sets itself apart from most other youth activities by offering low child-coach ratios, so each child can learn in a comfortable environment, geared exactly toward them. Coaches are experienced rugby players with a flair for working with kids.
