Move over wooden blocks that topple over! LEGOS® are a favorite children's toy that stack and connect so your kids can build whatever they can imagine. But this summer, Brain Builders takes Legos to a whole new level.
While creating and building LEGO® structures that move, your child won't even know they are learning about engineering, the concepts of energy, friction, aerodynamics and many more fundamentals! Learning is fun with Brain Builders' Summer LEGO® Camps, where kids will construct and destruct colorful, mobile Lego creations! There are four themes for you to choose from, recommended for grades first through sixth, but all grades are welcome:
Xtreme 4x4s: Perfect for the basic to intermediate builder, this camp will explore motors, gears, traction and how they play a roll in completing Xtreme obstacles! Recommended for grades second through sixth but all grades are welcome.
Knights vs. Gladiators: For intermediate to advanced builders, they'll engineer mechanical chariot racers and jousting machines to go head-to-head in a battle competition. Recommended for grades second through sixth but all grades are welcome.
Racing - Car Series: All skill levels will enjoy engineering race cars as they learn about energy, friction, aerodynamics and how they work in rubber band and gravity powered cars. All grade levels welcome.
City Destruction: All skill levels will bring their catapult and structure designs to life in this hands-on class as they learn about force, energy, and basic structural concepts such as strong shapes, bracing and joints. All grade levels welcome.

Brain Builders has customized tools and equipment that no other program has, like their bridge crusher, which measures how much force it takes to break a LEGO bridge, and a 16 foot aluminum timed race track. They have invested and will continue to invest in producing unique classes that are exciting for students. Some of their programs include: Catapults & Trebuchets, Strong Structures and Tall Towers, Race Cars 101, and “Locomotion” Mechanical Animals.
