Have a budding beach babe on your hands? The sun and sand can be a wonderful and fun thing - but as any mom knows, safety must always comes first.

The California Junior Lifeguard Programs teamed up with the Newport Dunes Resort and Marina, and are excited for their eighth year of their incredibly fun Back Bay Summer Camp program. The camp introduces kids to the ocean in a safe and educational way - while making it a blast with every splash. Kids will leave with an increased level of confidence in their abilities in an ocean setting, a basic knowledge of ocean safety, health and nutrition, and first-aid, plus a greater respect for their surroundings and environment!

Let's not leave out the fact that your young mermaids (and mer...boys!) will create relationships with passionate and caring instructors, as well as other like-minded kiddies! Send 'em off to a week of camp for only $120 and get excited for them to learn and laugh for days!

The Back Bay Summer Camp is one of my families FAVORITES! Its a great introduction to the ocean in a calm and sheltered environment with no waves.
