Enormous fluffy pancakes … not just child’s play — Stacks Pancake House has some seriously delish home-cooked fare.
This is a great family friendly restaurant, reasonable priced, and just minutes away from the Dana Point Harbor! The food is authentic — from the loco-moco (fried rice optional) to the coconut syrup on the pancakes. The food is amazing, and the portions are luau-sized. They are known for their enormous, fluffy pancakes with coconut syrup, but Stacks actually serves a little bit of everything. They have a variety of delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch items and are open Monday through Sunday, 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m..
Sit inside or outside on the patio — either way your food will be to die for!
Open for just over six months husband and wife duo Ovita and Nixon are first time restaurant owners. After being in the restaurant industry for nearly 20 years this couple decided to fuse their restaurant experience with their Japanese background and opened Stacks Pancake House. Also influenced by Hawaii they offer traditional items like Moco Loco (a hamburger patty on rice with eggs and gravy), macadamia nut French toast, Kalbi short ribs, Portuguese sausage, and the must-have pancake and French toast topping — coconut syrup.
