Kendra Leonard, owner, began The Art of Style because she wanted to create a boutique centered on respect and inner beauty rather than attitude and judgement. Motivated by love and pain in the wake of losing her husband to leukemia, she set out on a journey to raise money by donating $10 from the proceeds of sales of "Cancer Sucks" T-Shirts for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Now, The Art of Style boasts clothing that makes men and women feel confident and encourages them to lead healthy life styles. Affordable luxury brings new lines of clothing to Brier Creek and the Triangle. Books throughout the store encourage visitors to educate themselves on fashion and travel.
