Activities
With spring break coming up, we're worried about our kids getting bored pretty quick. Rather than let their minds wallow in daytime TV, why not get their minds (and their hands) working on something artistic. Art For Kids' spring break camps are the perfect cure for spring break malaise.
Art For Kids founder Kristi will get your kids' creative juices flowing with hands-on ceramics projects. Kids will be introduced to the basics of ceramics, starting with simple projects and going all the way to creating tiles and painting pottery. The best part is when they're done they'll have a display-quality art project to take home. So, when their teacher asks what everyone did on spring break, your kids will be able to show off their works of art.
Camps are offered over three different weeks: 03/26, 04/02, and 04/09 with two session times: 9am-1pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm. With so many options, you're bound to find a week and time that fits your kids' break schedule.
Art for Kids provides camps, art instruction, activities, and parties for Pre-K through high school students. Kids use ceramics, create artwork, mosaics, tiles and glaze pottery. After school classes, clay lessons, and events with themes are available.
