Baby and Kids
Play-Doh is awesome. But when your little one loses patience with its impermanent nature, it’s time to hit the hard stuff. Find it at the Striving Artist, where your child can work with real clay and then save his or her creation for a true keepsake. Your little artist will have a blast pinching and coiling clay into fun shapes like ladybugs and leaves.
Each Clay Day session offers two and a half hours of pottery time—instruction, materials, and snack included! What better way for your kid to spend the President’s Day school holiday? Choose from Friday February 17 (10am to 12:30pm or 1:30 to 4pm) or Monday February 20 (10am to 12:30;m or 1:30 to 4pm).
The Striving Artist offers acrylics painting, earring making, youth after-school classes, live floral centerpiece design for the holidays, knitting classes, and more. The teacher, Samantha, holds a Multiple Subject (Elementary) California teaching credential, a Supplementary Credential in Art and a Bachelor's Degree in Art, all obtained from San Diego State University! She's truly a gem!
