Your kids huddle around the TV to watch The X Games every summer, gasping at flips and tricks done mid-air. Now, they can start training to be the world's next skateboarding star.

Ocean Beach Surf & Skate/Ocean Experience leads a skateboarding camp to teach kids the fundamentals, techniques, and balance it takes to make it. With a state-of-the-art skate park, Ocean Beach Surf & Skate/Ocean Experience is ideal for boys and girls from 6 to 16 years old to learn board safety, skateboarding history, and basic tricks like ollies, kick flips, and shove-its. Have no clue what those are? Don't worry, your kids can show you after their skateboarding camp!

Camp is Monday-Friday, and either the morning session from 9am-12pm or afternoon session from 1pm-4pm. You can choose one of any of these 11 weeks:

• Session 1: 6/18 - 6/22
• Session 2: 6/25 - 6/29
• Session 3: 7/2 - 7/6
• Session 4: 7/9 - 7/13
• Session 5: 7/16 - 7/20
• Session 6: 7/23 - 7/27
• Session 7: 7/30 - 8/3
• Session 8: 8/6 - 8/10
• Session 9: 8/13 - 8/17
• Session 10: 8/20 - 8/24
• Session 11: 8/27 - 8/31
