Most kids have asked Santa for a pony at least once in their childhood. Well, this is the closest thing you can give your little cowboy (or girl) without having a petting zoo (and mess) in the backyard.

Rancho Del Lago is a full-service equestrian facility conveniently located in San Francisco's East Bay. This deal offers something for everyone: basic riding lessons, camps for kids, or advanced dressage lessons for Mom! The lessons are relaxed and low-pressure with a focus on good horsemanship and responsibility, so it's the perfect gift for beginners and more experienced riders alike. The Nitty Gritty:

  • Call Rancho Del Lago at 925-370-6439 to check camp availability
  • Winter Break Camp available on December 26, 27, 28 and 31, January 2, 3, and 4
  • Camp time is 9am-3:30pm
  • Day Campers ride twice a day, learn about pony care, and do fun "horsey" arts and crafts
  • 72 hours notice required for any date changes for Winter Camp
  • Changes are subject to availability which may be quite limited for Winter Camp
  • Lesson cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours notice
  • Lessons to be schedule at mutually agreeable time with instructor
  • No refunds will be made for missed camp days
  • Student, or parent if student is a minor, must complete and sign liability release and health/emergency information form prior to lesson; no exceptions
  • Not recommended for children under age 6 or pregnant women
  • Reservations are required
  • Valid for new customers only
  • May buy up to 2 vouchers as gifts
