Strictly French Nails was established in 1999 by owner and operator Carina Campo. Carina became very well known for her French-style nails. In 1995 when Carina began her career, there was no such thing as pink and white acrylic powder. Nails were polished French which created a lot of problems such as yellowing, wearing off, etc. Carina brought a new technique to the East Bay by drilling out the French tip and applying a white acrylic powder, solving all the issues of the old methods. Carina calls this method "Pink & Whites."
