Willy Wonka, as if you don't already know, is the story of the world famous candyman, Willy Wonka himself, who holds a contest in the (secret) hopes of finding an heir to his chocolate empire, and of Charlie, the little boy with a big heart who becomes his heir. As the true character of each child becomes clear, the audience can be in no doubt that Charlie, the poorest of the children, has the purest heart, and is the ultimate choice for Willy Wonka's factory!
It's such a fabulous, endearing, and enchanting show, all performed by youth actors in grades 5-8, and you and your family will love seeing it together in your own backyard!

The San Carlos Children's Theater (SCCT) was established as a non-profit organization in 1990 with the goal of providing children of the community the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the performing arts including acting, singing, dancing, stage, and technical production through participation in classes and stage productions. SCCT has helped more than 4,000 children discover their creative abilities.
