Want to give your kids the chance to walk the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy and Toto, high-five Will Smith, and hang with ‘the King’? The Wax Museum at Fisherman’s Wharf is full of big names and big fun.
The museum’s exhibits span four floors, with over 200 lifelike figures that are gorgeously dressed and dramatically staged. Create cool memories with your kids at one of San Francisco's most popular landmarks, then enjoy the food and fun of world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf.
Looking to create the perfect family fun-day without having to go far? You’ve just found the secret to making it happen.
As one of the world's largest wax museums, this (fully restored) San Francisco attraction shows all aspects of life, from the ignoble Chamber of Horrors to the inspiring Hall of Religion. Other interesting aspects include the historic Library of U.S. Presidents, the spectacular re-creation of King Tut's Tomb, and the unique Palace of Living Art, where the world's most famous masters and their masterpieces come to life through the magic of wax artistry.
Among both foreign and domestic visitors, the most popular part of the wax museum tour is The Gallery of Stars. Artisans are busy continually producing a galaxy of brand new stars, such as Leonardo Dicaprio and Will Smith, who join Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, and John Wayne.
