You’ve got lunch with friends. The kids have playdates all afternoon. Guess who is sitting home watching out the window waiting for someone, anyone, to pass by? Fido. Spot. Pepper. Mr. Whiskernose. That’s right: your dog. Your loving, loyal companion who asks for nothing in return for everything he gives to you. Next time, send him to his own playdate at Fog City Dogs, who will make sure that he gets playtime, exercise and, of course, a little time with his pals.
Fog City Dogs strives to be the leader in dog care and socialization by supplying the dogs with a fun, safe environment that fosters tolerance and love with many of the comforts of home. They also aim to comfort dog owners with the capability of observing their dogs throughout the day to assure that they have completely adjusted to the new environment.
What is Daycare at Fog City Dogs?
The whole point of bringing your dog to daycare is to have fun while socializing with other dogs in an active environment, right?
Well, that’s exactly what we do in a controlled and safe playgroup. After you drop off your dog in the AM, we’ll then take her on an outside, leashed walk in the neighborhood for about a half hour. The rest of the morning, the dogs romp around in playgroups with each other, playing ball, playing with the staff – and just being dogs. In fact, you can peek in on your dog via the playgroup webcam to see how they’re doing.
Later, we take daycare dogs out on their second leashed, neighborhood walk in the early afternoon. After their second outside walk, there’s more playtime. But some of the older and less active dogs may use this time for a quick ‘dog’ nap before being picked up in the late afternoon.
In a typical day of daycare, we aim to provide your dog with a full day of socialization, two outside ‘business’ walks, and all day play for a tired and happy dog.
